  • There are people who do this in real life, so obviously more people will do it under the anonymity and safety of the Internet. In real life, a lot these people get seriously injured and continue to say socially disruptive things just because it's fun to them.

  • I think trolling is a net positive.

  • I like dogs

  • Am I the only one who noticed he has ace Ventura hair

  • TROLOLOLOL Je suis un Montreal et je am Trolling and Why I am doing this^^^??????????????????????????????

  • Anyone ready for the mlp movie?

    Asking for a friend.

  • I am more afraid of someone pointing a gun at me and is silent than the one pointing a gun and telling me that he is going to shoot me.
Here is proof that trolling has been goin on for at least 150 years:

The fairy tale was collected by Peter Christen Asbjørnsen and Jørgen Moe in their Norske Folkeeventyr, first published between 1841 and 1844.

  • Trolls are just mindless idiots. There is NEVER any reason to post a provocative comment or post. You've got to be an actual mentally deficient primitive idiot to try to poke some reaction out of random people.

  • Actually, the worst trolls aren't the ones who are bad at it and post random inflammatory racist comments on sites.

The worst trolls are the ones who, for a long time.. seem genuine, intelligent .. caring.. … well-spoken Internet friends.. then somehow manage to figure you out psychologically .. and then they stab you in the back and hit you where it hurts the most!

Now that .. that is scary. Fortunately, I've been using the internet since I was 8, and had that happen to me all too many times, so I'm kinda numb to it in a way lol

  • all started around 2006,search for trends back then, internet price was low and accessible to young kids, search by photos or videos how much narsicist was that generation or how much narcisist those kids became through the social media exposure(hi5,facebook,msn etc)how they divided emo and normal kids and so on

  • don't look at the sqaure

  • Minimization of authority… How did i already figure that one in a game. Called clash of clans, its when someone is of a higher rank than you, so they think they can do whatever they want basically

  • Btw, what does it say about me if i joke sarcastically as if i was a narcissist, but i actually really understand psychology of other people. Does that mean i am actually a… Narcissist… Probably not but i just want to know… I just realized that i am really insecure on the internet… Good to know.

  • Troel

  • "Don't feed the trolls" The most misguiding troll of all.

  • Trolling has been around forever

  • There are no real threats online. Get real.

  • Just because you have the right to express yourself in anyway you want doesn't always mean you should. Having respect for others by knowing what to say (and not to say) and when to say it is more important I'd argue. STAY CIVIL Y'ALL! PEACE OUT

  • They just feel like trolling

  • Giygas did 9/11

  • Some of this is true to an extent. The anti antisocialism part may actually have something to do with it but really we trolls are able to find friendships in our anti-social actions. Main reason a lot of trolls do what they do is mostly because we like the reactions. The best way to put it is what I responded to somebody in this comment section is that trolls, we live for your tears, we live for your anger, we live for your frustration, and we live mostly for your overall emotion. Sarcasm which really is more or less a deflection tactic of being trolled is when a lot of trolls get to have way more fun than normal.

  • I'm really surprised no one has brought up GIFT – the Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory. It's basically John Suler's theory, but more aptly named.

  • Their definition of trolling is totally wrong, trolling is the act of intruding into a ridiculous conversation, and either smacking them with reality, or debunking the content of said conversation, which is why the American political left usually bares the brunt of online trolling.
    Anything else is called shitposting.

  • I get free speech, but if it upsets someone, especially someone vulnerable to that sort of thing, can you just not? Like, don't say anything, or say something..nice?

  • Trolling is art form.

  • "The online disinhibition effect" by John Suler in the journal Cyberpsychology & Behavior, in 2004, has been cited 2,320 times, according to Google. There's a lot of work to be done if anyone wants to keep up with the latest science on this effect.

  • M C

he does not know how to say "don't feed the troll"

  • Aww boo hoo don't get butt hurt that is what trollers want it is what "feeds" them so by u having a cow u have fallen into the trap of the heartless troll.
