About Riphah International University

Riphah International University is a private University, chartered by the Federal Government of Pakistan in 2002. The University was established with a view to producing professionals with Islamic moral and ethical values. It is sponsored by a not-for-profit trust; namely Islamic International Medical College Trust (IIMCT), created in 1995. The first project of the IIMCT was the Islamic International Medical College, Rawalpindi, established in 1996 by its Founding Managing Trustee; Maj. Gen. (Retd.) Muhammad Zulfiqar Ali Khan, TI(M), TBt (Late). Currently, the University has 7 faculties and various academic departments, and an overseas project, namely, RAK College of Dental Sciences, UAE. The University is also working on the establishment of its campus in Mauritius.

Riphah Institute of Clinical & Professional Psychology, Riphah International University

The Riphah Institute of Clinical and Professional Psychology (RICPP) was established in 2015, in order to develop a Comprehensive Training Program for Professional Psychologists in Pakistan. It focuses to expand the Role of Psychology to deal with a wide range of Psychological Problems of Individuals as well as the community at large. The reputation of this Department is reflected in the keen competition for the entrance of students to its vast variety of Programs. RICPP aims to raise the Standard of Psychology to International Level.

Centre for Islamic Psychology, Riphah International University

The Centre for Islamic Psychology is unique in Pakistan. It is the first of its kind in the promotion and development of Islamic Psychology. Our vision is to develop a global ‘Centre of Excellence’ in Islamic Psychology at Riphah International University. This international initiative led by the Riphah International University, in partnership with the International Association of Islamic Psychology, the Khalil Center, the Ihsaan project, The International Association of Muslim Psychologists as part of the project to boost international collaborations.
