Perceived Arousal Scale
Perceived Arousal Scale (Craig A. Anderson, English)
The Perceived Arousal Scale consists of 24 items, some of which are reverse scored. The scale measures the state of arousal in an individual, as interpreted by the answers to the 24 items.
If the level of anxiety predicted perceived arousal, three separate stepwise regression analyses were conducted. PAQ Total score before, during, and after the stress test was entered as dependent variables, and the MASC Total score was entered as a predictor. To control for possible effects of age and gender, these variables were first added to the model as independent variables. Due to overlap between items of the MASC Physical Anxiety Scale and the PAQ.
