HEALTH AND NUTRITION DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY (HANDS)
HANDS was founded by Prof. A. G. Billoo (Sitarae-Imtiaz) in 1979. HANDS has evolved in 40 years as one of the largest Non-Profit Organizations in the country. We have an integrated development approach and disaster management expertise. HANDS has a network of 35 branches across the country and has access to more than 29 million population, more than 21,000 villages/settlements in 59 districts of Pakistan. HANDS strength is 14 volunteers Board Members, > 10,000 workforce, and thousands of community-based volunteers of more than 6,300 partner organizations.

HANDS Pakistan is registered under the Societies Act is certified by the Pakistan Center of Philanthropy (PCP), and Tax exempted by the Income Tax Department Government of Pakistan. HANDS has signed the MOU with the Economic Affair Division (EAD) of the Finance Ministry, Government of Pakistan (GOP). qualified the Institutional Management Certification Program (IMCP) of USAID of management standards. HANDS is accredited with the European Union, Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) and also possess membership of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
