In a 4-hour lecture, Aaron Norton, LMHC, a psychotherapist and Adjunct Instructor at the University of South Florida’s Dept. of Rehabilitation & Mental Health Counseling, and Henry Tenenbaum, Ph.D., a clinical psychologist, walk students and alumni of three graduate degree programs through changes in the 5th edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5).

  • I though this was an excellent presentation and overview of the changes. Although fast paced, both presenters gave the most important aspects of the changes to walk away with allowing me to research more on which disorders I deal with. Thank you and great job.

I am a 3rd year student doing my degree in social work, my second major subject choice being psychology, at the University of South Africa, and this video has helped me understand and prepare for my examination on abnormal behaviour and specifically related to the DSM 5 section updates. We have an online facebook study group, and I have share the video on the site. I think this video has made a major contribution in understanding the DSM 5 update.
